Beautiful Brown Girl is a soft place to land for women of color who desire to be seen, supported, and safe. Founded in 2005, Beautiful Brown Girl began with a love of creative expression. Sonja Tanette Smith created Beautiful Brown Girl as a space where femininity, reflection, and becoming could exist together. Over the last twenty-one years later, the vision has grown; now, Beautiful Brown Girl creates room for women to pause, receive, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
