Benevolence

As of recent years, about 30% of Black children live in poverty, compared to around 10% of their counterparts. This economic disparity contributes to the high rates of homelessness among Black single mothers and their children. Homelessness among Black single mothers is more pronounced in urban areas, where housing costs are higher, and the competition for affordable housing is more intense.

Our goal is to provide temporary hotel housing for black single mothers and their families to assist them in regaining stability by donating a portion of Beautiful Brown Girl Univeristy Backpack proceeds.
