Beautiful Brown Girl

Founded by Sonja Tanette Smith in 2005, Beautiful Brown Girl grew from a love of creativity, conversation, and the many ways women become who they are. A proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University, Sonja created this space as a place where softness, reflection, femininity, and becoming could exist together.

Over the years, Beautiful Brown Girl has grown into more than a brand. It has become a soft place to land—a space for reflection, restoration, connection, and the gentle rediscovery of self.

Through conversation, community, and creativity, Beautiful Brown Girl invites women to gather the pieces of their stories, make room for who they are becoming, and remember the woman they were always created to be.
