Founded by Sonja Tanette Smith in 2005, Beautiful Brown Girl reflects both creative passion and decades of experience in leadership, communications, and corporate development. A proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University, Sonja created this space as a place where softness, reflection, femininity, and becoming could coexist.

Over time, Beautiful Brown Girl evolved into more than a brand. It became a quiet space for reflection, restoration, and the rediscovery of self.
